'That's The Way (I Like It)' was originally recorded in a more risque manner by KC & The Sunshine Band before lead singer Harry Wayne Casey toned down the "uh-huhs," making them sound like cries of jubilation. He was concerned the original version would be too suggestive for airplay in 1975.

'I Will Survive' won the 1979 Grammy for Best Disco Recording. It was the first and last time that the Grammys offered this category.

'Rock The Boat' by the Hues Corporation was the first disco song to hit number 1 on the Billboard charts.
